Community Benefits
Frosty Nug looks forward to working cooperatively with our local community to ensure that it operates as a responsible, contributing member.
Frosty Nug intends to positively impact the community in several ways, including but not limited to the following:
Jobs.
Our dispensary will add 12-16 full-time and/or part-time local jobs, in addition to hiring local contractors and vendors. We will guarantee a minimum starting wage of $16 per hour with benefits.
Host Community Agreement.
A host community agreement with significant monetary payments that would provide the community with additional financial benefits beyond local property taxes to address any impacts on the community and support local programs, services, or organizations, totaling 3% of gross sales and a 3% local option tax
Good Corporate Citizen.
Frosty Nug believes that our success is directly correlated to our relationship with the surrounding community. We plan to participate in civic, philanthropic, and other community events, with minimum annual contributions of over $25,000.
Responsibility.
Frosty Nug is comprised of experienced professionals who will be thoroughly background checked and scrutinized by the Cannabis Control Commission. If Frosty Nug does not hold up to our end of the host community agreement the community may revoke and/or refuse to reissue this agreement

Frosty Nug aims to find, keep and engage the highest caliber of diverse employees and encourages their contribution and development. We recognizes that the barriers to entry into the workplace can be higher for certain disadvantaged groups due to societal standards and socioeconomic factors. We also recognize the disproportionate impact that the war on drugs has had on communities and individuals attempting to reenter the workforce.
Therefore we will proactively recruit, hire and retain talent within diverse groups, including women, veterans, LGBTQ people, people with a disability, and felons convicted of drug charges, or family members of someone convicted of drug charges. Appropriate career paths and internal recognition programs will be developed for both managerial and non-managerial staff. Employees are provided equally with learning and development opportunities to fulfill their potential.
Frosty Nug is committed to providing equality of opportunity to all existing and prospective employees without discrimination on the basis of religion, disability, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or any other category protected by federal, state or local laws and regulations applicable in the jurisdiction Frosty Nug employees are located. We encourage and embrace diversity and opportunity, which is reinforced through the our Diversity Plan.
The workplace must be free from violent behavior. Threatening, intimidation or aggressive behavior, as well as bullying, subject to ridicule or other similar behavior toward fellow employees or others in the workplace will not be tolerated. No weapons of any kind will be tolerated in the workplace unless such are required for property security purposes and then only after authorization by Frosty Nug board.
Frosty Nug is committed to providing employees with a fair living wage. We will evaluate wages and family situations to determine the minimum standard of living wage for each individual.

Information pertaining to Frosty Nug will be shared through public meetings, open houses, and through the regulatory process. Frosty Nug welcomes feedback from communities and seeks consultation on issues that are important to our neighbors. Many stakeholders are involved in this process including local authorities, government, and the Cannabis Control Commission ("CCC").
Frosty Nug believes local communities and people should benefit from opportunities provided by the cannabis industry through jobs, training and Frosty Nug's use of local service providers. We believe that building strong relationships will result in solid support from local communities for the development of our facility and our future business. Frosty Nug is committed to:
